At the core of successful co-design is the team’s ability to center their work around shared goals and available assets. The (Re)Centering Tool helps teams establish these parameters early in the process and revisit them at each major decision point. Used first in Stage 2 and then after every stage, it prompts reflection on audience needs, equity, goals, time, budget, and team capacity—supporting transparency, accountability, and course correction when needed.
